Learning Disability

Helping you live with more choice, confidence and independence.

At My Crew Healthcare, we support adults with learning disabilities to live safely, confidently and as independently as possible in their own home. Our support is built around who you are, what you can already do and what you want to achieve.

A learning disability affects the way a person learns, understands information and develops certain skills.

This can make everyday tasks more challenging, such as:

  • Understanding information and communication
  • Learning new tasks and solving problems
  • Managing money and daily routines
  • Personal care and staying safe
  • Making decisions without extra support

Everyone is different. Our support starts by getting to know you as an individual – your strengths, interests and what matters most to you.

I realised I needed to move on and out of my parent’s house.

I like the fact that I can get out on my own and be more independent.
